In this post, we’ll go over some really simple goal-setting strategies to completely transform your network marketing business over the next 90 days and beyond.

I want to talk a little bit about goal-setting. First, I want you to answer these two questions:
- Do you have goals for your network marketing business?
- When you set your goals, do you create a road map for yourself to get there?
Let’s dive in!
Here’s the network marketing success secret that will change how you look at growing your business.
Did you know that statistically, you’ve only got to recruit 20-30 people in order to have one or two really take off and set yourself up with some really great residual income?
Let that sink in for a second. ONLY 20-30 people! Statistically, that will leave you with about 3-5 (out of the 20-30) who are taking action & getting results & that’s really all you need to have a really nice income in network marketing. I’ve heard this time and time again from multiple 6 & 7 figure earners.
Now you know exactly what to work toward. So what do you do with this secret to network marketing success?
Set a goal to recruit your 20 by a certain date & start creating your ACTION PLAN/strategy TODAY.
- Do you want to recruit 1 a month for the next 2 years?
- OR 1 a week for the next 5 months?
- How aggressive do you want to be with your efforts?
Work backwards from your goal.
- How many do you need to present your opportunity to THIS WEEK in order to hit your goal?
- How many people do you need to talk to in order to present to that many people?
While it’s important to have a 12-month goal, it’s more important that you break that down into smaller chunks. Have a 3 month goal, a 1-month goal, weekly, and daily goals.
Here’s a quick example:
It may sound daunting and even a bit impossible to talk to 3600 people in a year (cuz holy crap, that’s a lot of people)….
But break that down to a monthly goal and that’s only 300 a month. Ok, that’s a little better, but still sounds crazy, right?
Break that down even further and that’s only 10 people a day. Can you talk to 10 new people a day? There are over 1 billion people on FaceBook. Of course you can!
If you’re talking to 300 people a month (just 10 people a day), how many of those do you think you can attract into buying your products or joining your down line? Even if your closing ratio stinks & is only 1%, that’s still 3 new customers or recruits.
Do you know your conversion numbers? If so, do the math & see how many people you’ll need to talk to in order to recruit your first 20.

- Set a goal for how quickly you will recruit your 20-30 people.
- Plan out how many you’ll need to recruit each month or each week to make that happen.
- Calendar out how many people you need to talk to every DAY in order to reach your goals. If you don’t know your conversion rates, take your best guess, use the trackers on the free guide I gave you, and adjust as you start to discover your actual numbers.

DO NOT get into wasting your time and energy comparing your conversion rates to anyone else. You may be starting out today with less social influence than someone else.
One person may need to talk to 100 people to recruit 1 and someone else may only need to talk to 3. Realize if you’re that first person, it’s OK. You just need the right training and to realize this process & this network marketing action plan will give you the experience & practice that you need to improve your conversion rates & get those results.
Think of this as a learning process. You are training yourself to do this whole network marketing thing. The faster you can talk to people, the sooner you’ll get that one recruit and gain the experience needed to improve your rates.
